    Embracing Entrepreneurship: How a Creative Approach Can Transform Your Art, with David Cutler

    An interactive full-day workshop devoted to helping PERFORMING ARTISTS achieve greater professional success, to create opportunities, build an “empire,” market powerfully, and engage new audiences.     An interactive full-day workshop devoted to helping PERFORMING ARTISTS achieve greater professional success, to create opportunities, build an “empire,” market powerfully, and engage new audiences. This workshop is geared specifically towards MUSICIANS, DANCERS, ACTORS, and other performing artists, and will examine the critical elements often overlooked or misunderstood by performing artists, such as entrepreneurship, product development, branding, marketing, networking, the new recording paradigm, personal finance, funding, relevance, and legacy... and take control of their career by discovering opportunities that are both prosperous and meaningful, and with ideas on how to advance their career, income, and impact. DAVID CUTLER is one of the leading voices on arts career and entrepreneurship training. Cutler balances a varied career as a jazz and classical composer, pianist, educator, arranger, conductor, collaborator, concert producer, author, blogger, consultant, speaker, advocate, and entrepreneur. He currently teaches at Duquesne University, as the Associate Professor of Composition and Musicianship & Coordinator of Music Entrepreneurship Studies. Seating is limited, register early.
