“Black Women, Crime and Violence in Georgia, 1865-1917” will be presented by Talitha LeFlouria, assistant professor in the FAU department of history. LeFlouria will present a lecture about the critical role black female prisoners played in the building of Georgia’s industries during the post-emancipation era.
