This panel discussion will be opened with the lecture presentation “Women in United States Politics: Review of National, Regional and Local Trends,” with Alicia Jencik, visiting instructor in FAU’s department of political science. Panelists include Dr. Jean L. Enright, commissioner, Port of Palm Beach; Anne M. Gannon, tax collector, Palm Beach County; Addie Greene, former commissioner, Palm Beach County; Tara Laxer, former chief of staff to Florida State Senator Ted Deutch; Suzanne Mulvehill, Lake Worth City Commissioner, District 4. The event will be moderated by Kitty Oliver, adjunct professor of communications at FAU.
