    March 26, 2010

We are excited to announce that the Symphony of the Americas Society will host their Spring Gala, "Viennese Rhapsody Ball," on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66. Guests will be whisked away to a magnificent ballroom, adorned with flowers everywhere, followed by a gourmet Viennese dinner. Symphony of the Americas Society President, Carole Nugent, promises that this year's Viennese Rhapsody Ball will be the most elegant ball of the season.

The highlight of the evening will be a short performance of the full Symphony featuring Viennese music. The Symphony of the Americas is a vital part of our community that is consistently rated by Florida's Division of Cultural Affairs as one of the top orchestras in the state. Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese has won numerous awards, including the coveted 2005 Hispanic Heritage Award at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. The Maestro and the Symphony have been dedicated to bringing the highest quality music education programming to young people both in South Florida and the Americas.

Proceeds from our event will help the Symphony continue into the next decade with a focus on enriching the lives of all they touch through the wonderful power of music, taking pride in the contribution they make to the cultural environment of South Florida. The Maestro and full orchestra will create an atmosphere of Viennese charm and elegance that will delight your senses. This delightful evening is $225 per person. Bring a friend!

This will be one of our major fundraisers of the year with approximately 250 attendees. We would greatly appreciate your support with a donation to our silent auction.
