The workshop will encourage artists (all disciplines) to take control of their own marketing by learning what it can and can't do for their careers. Participants will learn how to define targets and objectives based on overall career goals, how to construct a solid marketing strategy based on those objectives and how to make it a success, as a team of one (or 2 or more, if you're a collaborative). Participants are encouraged to bring examples of their work and/or existing promotional materials for hands-on exercises and critiques aimed at improving their branding, messaging and overall marketing before the end of the workshop.
