A cappella music is suddenly cool, hip and funny, thanks to The Blanks, best known as "Ted's Band" on the long-running television comedy Scrubs. Now, this quartet of funny singing friends who also play a quartet of funny singing friends on TV, have become a crossover sensation, playing improvs, college campuses and performing arts centers. Whether it's life imitating art, or art imitating life, their unique brand of "com-apella" is winning over audiences everywhere with funny versions of pop covers and TV series title songs from "Charles in Charge" to the "Six Million Dollar Man," plus skits, antics, choreography (the kind a 5-year old could memorize), talking toys, costume changes and great entertainment for all ages.
