Enjoy the works of Hedy Berman on display in the Francie Bishop Good workspace at ArtsServe for the month of March, 2010.  Hedy will make a special appearance at the workspace on March 12 from 6-8pm. 

About Hedy: Painting organic design with watercolor and multi-media has been a passion and a driving force for artist Hedy Berman as early as her High School years. In Florida 32 years, she studied privately and in group sessions with some of South Florida's finest instructors including Jane Collin, past president of Gold Coast Water Color Society, Lynn Kroll, nationally known watercolor artist, Al Razza, internationally known, recognized artist, Sally Cooper and nationally known, Charles Mills. She has also studied at Broward Community College and The Coral Springs Museum of Art. Hedy has served on the Board of Directors of The Coral Springs Artist Guild for three years and is an active member of Art Serve, The Broward Art Guild, The Gold Coast Watercolor Society, and Arts United. She has served as a demonstrator for her unique style.

Artists Statement
"Focusing on organic design with multimedia materials frees me to create with color, dimension, softness and intensity. My style is tactile inviting the viewer to touch. My presentations range from an impressionistic watercolor to a mixed media design with an under painting or over painting or both using unusual textures."
