ArtExplosion Opening Night Carnaval!

ArtExplosion 10 International LGBT Arts Festival opens February 6, 2010 at ArtServe Gallery with the opening reception of one of the largest juried art exhibits by gay and lesbian artists in the country. The theme of the opening night event is “Carnaval!” in celebration of this year’s spotlight country, Brazil, with Brazilian artists and performers highlighted that night and throughout the festival. Over 500 guests will be greeted by Carmen Miranda (Eva Weiner), enjoy Brazilian music by Djjust Oliver, Capoeira by Academy of Copoeira Corpo e Movimento by Mestre Pele, Samba by Pualo Gualano, plus a one-night-only erotic art exhibit, art and video installations, performance art, and complimentary wine bar and desserts. Carnaval costumes by Paulo Gualano and brazilian provided food by local Brazilian restaurants will set the mood for one diversão night.
