    Shop for a good cause. The Benefit Flea Market at Flamingo Gardens opens rain or shine from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, on Saturday, January 30 with something for everyone and treasures of all kinds from new merchandise, to used and vintage items including jewelry, antiques, crafts, collectibles, and yard sale goods all at the bargain prices that are the best in town. The Benefit Flea Market at Flamingo Gardens opens rain or shine from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, on Saturday, January 30 with something for everyone and treasures of all kinds from new merchandise, to used and vintage items including jewelry, antiques, crafts, collectibles, and yard sale goods all at the bargain prices that are the best in town. There will also be Story Time for children on the 1/2 with a reading of "What Hat Will I Choose?" by the authors. Be sure to stop by the Flamingo Gardens tent for the great deals. The $2 admission to the Flea Market for ages 12 and up benefits the not-for-profit organization which is supported solely by admissions, proceeds from events, donations, visitor purchases and memberships. Vendor spaces are available on the Upcoming Events page of the website www.flamingogardens.org. 3750 S Flamingo Road, Davie, 954-473-2955. Come to shop, then stay to enjoy the 60-acre botanical paradise which exhibits and cares for permanently injured, non-releasable animals including threatened and endangered native species, and provides educational programs for school and camp children. Admission of $17 ages 12+, $8.50 ages 4-11 includes the botanical and native wildlife exhibits with panthers, bobcats, otters, alligators, tortoises, turtles, a free-flight aviary with over 40 species of native birds, birds of prey exhibit, live Wildlife Encounter Shows and guided tours of historic 1930s Wray Home. The narrated tour by tram of the wetland and native hammock areas is extra. Food, snacks, and beverages are available. The courtyard Children's Playground, Gift Shop, Garden Shop and Tropical Marketplace are all open to the public. Parking is free. Never been to Flamingo Gardens?
