Gordon Lightfoot is one of the premiere folk artists whose songs paint emotional pictures with unforgettable lyrics and earthy melodies. Since emerging from the Toronto folk club scene in the early '60s, Gordon Lightfoot has recorded 19 albums, been nominated for a Grammy five times and has won 17 Juno Awards in his native Canada. His list of hit songs is endless with such classics as "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," "Carefree Highway," "If You Could Read My Mind" and "Sundown."
