Community Conversations on Climate

Join the Museum Of Discovery and Science in an effort to improve citizens' access to climate information and increase public climate literacy. Personnel from NOAA's Climate Program Office have partnered with the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) and museums around the country to pilot a new initiative called Community Conversations on Climate. These one-day workshops are being held in Science Centers around the country and offer citizens the opportunity to interact directly with climate scientists, local experts, and fellow citizens to learn more about how climate change may affect their lives and livelihoods. The program, which combines innovative data visualizations with opportunities for personal interaction with experts, is designed to leave participants better informed about local sources of information.
