The Chocolate Nutcracker

This adaptation of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, is set in the home of a Black family. Lea takes a magical journal to her spectacular roots of Africa. The performances highlight the Kwanzaa celebration, African dancers and drummers, the Chinese Dragon, belly dancers, and much, much more. The audience is always left spellbound.

      While visiting South Florida, I had the opportunity to attend this great performance, which I feel had something for everyone. The atmosphere was warming, educational and enlightening as the audience... Expand

      While visiting South Florida, I had the opportunity to attend this great performance, which I feel had something for everyone. The atmosphere was warming, educational and enlightening as the audience performed to a high level of excellence. Parts of the performance was a tear jerker for me emotionally as the characters perfomed with so much feeling and adoration. I am looking forward to the 2011 performance in deed. Collapse
