EARS (Electro-Acoustic Research Society) was just awarded The Outstanding Organization in the Arts Community Title by CSO (Council for Student Organizations) for all the activity the group coordinated during the 2008-2009 academic year. This included their work with the NWEAMO Festival, New Music Miami, Winter Music Conference, FLEA, and countless other activities including jam sessions in the dorms and workshops available to all FIU students. Congratulations to all the EARS members and especially the EARS board for being such leaders in the community!
