This is an 84-minute documentary, featuring 37 musicians from around the world will be shown for the first time in Ft. Lauderdale following its October 13 release. Filming and recording musicians - in parks, plazas, and promenades, in doorways, cobblestone streets and hilly pueblos - in such locations as post-apartheid South Africa, India and Nepal, the Middle East, Spain, and the United States, Playing for Change is a unique and soul-stirring story of hope, struggle, perseverance, and joy. Originally seen on PBS in August, the full-length documentary will include 26 minutes of never-before seen narration and performance.
