Varla Jean and her company of co-conspirators have created a high camp stage version of Charlotte, a film considered by many cinema historians as the quintessential example of southern gothic thriller. Enthusiasts of the original film will find themselves in hysterics over the dead-on, inspired rendering of the original film as the play will playfully ridicule this celluloid art form.
