Tribute to Eddie Higgins

Add Review/CommentTo celebrate the life of this outstanding jazz artist, long time friend and fellow jazz pianist Dick Hyman will be performing a concert in his tribute. Born and raised in New England, Eddie Higgins started his professional career in Chicago, while studying at the Northwestern University Music School. For twenty years Eddie worked at some of Chicago's best known jazz clubs, including the Brass Rail, Blue Note and many more. He played opposite the biggest jazz stars of the '50s and '60s including Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Billy Evans and many others.
