Flamenco in the Sun 2009 - Flamenco 24 Horas

The final concert of this year's festival will draw the audience in to a world of flamenco seen through the transformed lives of three women as they interact with flamenco in different situations and moments of their lives. This hour long work by Paola Escobar, explores the capacity of flamenco as a language for expressing human experience. With a fresh aesthetic and with topics that depart then return to the traditional, Flamenco 24 Hours tests the ability of this Andalusian art to express contemporary reality.
