Miami City Ballet's Program I features Paul Taylor's Company B, performed to carefree World War II hits by the Andrews Sisters ('Rum and Coca Cola,' 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,' 'Oh, Johnny, Oh!') contrasted with the melancholy realities of soldiers at war. Also on the program are three works by George Balanchine, including Allegro Brillante to the music of Tchaikovsky, Sylvia pas de Deux to the music of Delibes, and Symphony in Three Movements to the music of Stravinsky.
