An alternative to The Nutcracker to initiate young audiences into the art of ballet, Fairy Doll is a ballet in two acts with music by Josef Bayer. The story is set in a toy shop. The owner shows dolls to different customers. After the shop closes, the dolls come to life and dance both alone and with each other all led by the Fairy Doll.
