Every year in January, the school holds its annual Unity Week where they celebrate the diversity of the community through various events. One of the events will be an attempt for the World's Longest Line Dance. Nova Southeastern University sent an application to Guinness Book of World's Records Website and it was accepted. The Dance is called Dabke, its a traditional Eastern Mediterranean chain Dance and is only four steps.
