Calling all Junior Engineers! Put on your hard hats and come join the Design Squad: Build It Challenge. Use teamwork to create a paper table sturdy enough to hold 10lbs, a high-flying zip line, a boat made of straws and much more. Make your day complete with an IMAX film. Based on the popular PBS television series, the three-day event will offer families the opportunity to meet IBM engineering experts, unleash their kids' ingenuity and get them thinking like engineers through six interactive Design Squad challenges. Many events will be taking place at different times throughout the weekend. The event Need for Speed will let attendees build a car that goes really fast and is powered by a rubberband. Another event, Pop Fly, is football with a twist where a way to send a ping-pong ball flying high enough to catch it. Other events are Four Corners, High Rise, Paper Tables and Zip Lines.
