Master Chorale of South Florida will present Felix Mendelssohn's most famous work, the spectacular oratorio Elijah. The 140-voice chorus will be supported by the highly regarded Boca Raton Symphonia and four soloists. The role of Elijah will be sung by bass Donnie Ray Albert, who wowed audiences in the Master Chorale's April production of Carmina Burana. The roles of Ahab and Obadiah will be sung by tenor Glenn Siebert. Mezzo Hannah Sharene Penn will return to sing the roles of Queen Jezebel and an angel. Soprano Angela Cadelago will make her Master Chorale debut singing the roles of the widow, the youth and an angel.
