The South Florida Jazz Summit is a networking conference, education and exposition that brings together South Florida's Jazz community. SFJS is scheduled for Saturday, April 16th, 2011 at Artserve, Inc, 1350 East Sunrise Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Pursuant to the preservation, promotion, education and advancement of Jazz, a unique American Artform: The mission of the South Florida Jazz Summit is to empower everything "Jazz" in the area; thereby, serving as a cultural bridge--bringing together people from the Jazz community to network, education and celebrate Jazz; helping to energize the local Jazz scene; bringing awareness to area Jazz institutions; showcasing the best emerging young Jazz talent from great area schools, as well as helping to empower South Florida as a world class destination for live Jazz.
