The Tamarac Public Art Committee is seeking to commission an artist or artist team to create a unique standard design for covered and uncovered public benches. The design must be reproducible and may be artistically embellished. The benches will be placed in public places throughout the City of Tamarac and should help to create a unique sense of place. Existing benches will gradually be replaced by benches designed by the artist or artist team. The design proposal should include a description of the materials and cost of materials. The City of Tamarac shall own the design of the benches.
