To all community partners, educators, and non-profit leaders:

State Farm charitable resources are focused on helping build safer, stronger, and better educated communities. Beginning March 1, eligible non-profit organizations across the United States and Canada have the opportunity to submit an application for grant consideration from State Farm.

The 2013 application window will be open from March 1 – May 31, 2012. Applications will not be accepted after May 31.

Please note the following:

Their signature funding focus is auto safety. However, funding will still be available for other safety issues, education excellence, and community development.Minimum grant amount is $5,000.Funding decisions will be made and checks awarded by February 28, 2013.Grant applications must be submitted online.One proposal per organization per year may be considered. Organizations should include information on their grant needs for 2013.All applications must be received for 2013 funding during this application period.

In addition to the 2013 State Farm grant applications, they are currently still accepting applications for their 2012 State Farm Youth Advisory Board (SFYAB) youth-led service learning grants. Deadline to apply for the SFYAB grant is May 4, 2012 at www.sfyab.com.
