His stature and popularity rest on his equal mastery over classical and the traditional semi-classical and folk music repertoire of the Shehnai. He has participated at every major classical music conference and has been presented with numerous awards. He has performed in several interesting duet productions, including one with late Ustad Munnawar Ali Khan, an east-west piano duet with Peter Michael Hamel at an Indo-German Festival; a violin duet with Pandit V.G. Jog and a sitar duet with Ustad Vilayat Khan. He retains the purity of the Raga which depicts his solid traditional background.=0D=0A=Pandit Subhen Chatterjee is one of the best known tabla players of India today. Subhen has been accompanying almost all top ranking musicians quite successfully in major music conferences both in India and abroad for the past 20 years and thus has earned a very good name both from the audiences as well as the press.=0D=0A= =0D=0A= =0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:7:00pm to 9:30pm
