This special one hour family performance at The Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens is a gift to our community offered at a $10 ticket price affordable for everyone! Tickets can be purchased online at www.fcbt.org or by calling 561.630.8235.=0D=0A==0D=0A=A Midsummer Night's Dream is based on William Shakespeare's entertaining story of mortals and fairies, adventures, misadventures, love and magic.=0D=0A=With themes of reality versus illusion, change versus constancy, the ballet displays love and all of its intricacies. It will take you to forests inhabited by King Oberon (ruler of the fairy kingdom), his queen, Titania, and the mischievous Puck. A Midsummer Night's Dream is sure to delight audiences of all ages.=0D=0A==0D=0A=Underscored by Mendelssohn's music, company members Lily Ojea and Rogelio Corrales will dance the leading roles of Titania and King Oberon. Ensemble member Millie Isiminger will play the role of Puck. Dance students from Florida Classical Ballet Theatre's ballet school, The Esther Center, will perform as fairies and rustics. =0D=0A==0D=0A=Greg Stepanich of Palm Beach Arts Paper described the FCBT's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream as a &ldquo;thoroughly entertaining afternoon&rdquo;. Adding to the charm of the ballet, this family oriented performance will include a mixture of the company's seasoned professional dancers as well as its younger company members and students. Additionally Mr. Stepanich commented on Artistic Director, Colleen Smith's ability to include younger and older troupe members and still demonstrate a &ldquo;thorough, deep discipline that let viewers take in the broader visual aspects of its work: precisely designed, colorful costumes, plenty of movement without mania&rdquo;.=0D=0A==0D=0A=Founded in 2001 to give local dance students and artists the opportunity to perform in full-length classical ballet productions, Florida Classical Ballet Theatre (FCBT) is now the only local professional ballet company in Palm Beach County.
