Imagine a world where the American Eagle has been replaced by The Bird – the symbol of a watchful government, ready to fly at any indication of free thought or creativity that would threaten the iron hold the Ministry keeps on its citizens. In this world, three students find themselves singled out for re-training, their conformity not quite as complete as their government would like. But when their professor sends them into the dusty archives of the abandoned library on an unusual assignment, they uncover a hidden diary.
