 omance to the late Ustad Bismillah Khan.  Performances by: Ustad Ali Ahmed
  Hussain Khan on Shehani (Indian Oboe)\, Janab Hassan Haider & Janab Ahmed
  Abbas Khan \, Pandit Subhen Chetterjee on Tabla.  Doors open at 7pm on Sa
 turday\, April 11\, 2009 at the Borward County Main Library located at 100
  South Andrews Avenue\, Fort Lauderdale.  Tickets are: $25 (Preffered Seat

  Hussain Khan plays Shehani (the Indian Oboe). His stature and popularity 
 rest on his equal mastery over classical and the traditional semi-classica
 l and folk music repertoire of the Shehnai. He has participated at every m
 ajor classical music conference and has been presented with numerous award
 s. He has performed in several interesting duet productions\, including on
 e with late Ustad Munnawar Ali Khan\, an east-west piano duet with Peter M
 ichael Hamel at an Indo-German Festival\; a violin duet with Pandit V.G. J
 og and a sitar duet with Ustad Vilayat Khan. He retains the purity of the 
 Raga which depicts his solid traditional background.\nPandit Subhen Chatte
 rjee is one of the best known tabla players of India today. Subhen has bee
 n accompanying almost all top ranking musicians quite successfully in majo
 r music conferences both in India and abroad for the past 20 years and thu
 s has earned a very good name both from the audiences as well as the press
