 nd talented artists who are serious about preserving indo-Caribbean arts v
 ia music and dance. Indo-Caribbeans are Indians living in the Caribbean wh
 o ancestor came from Trinidad\, Guyana\, Jamaica\, Suriname\, and other pa
 rts of the Caribbean and South America. \n\nDance styles such as Kuchipudi
 \, Bharatanatyam\, Kathak\, Rajdhar\, Folk\, & Chutney will be featured in
  an array of dance sequences which will fuse the different styles and aspe
 ct of dances. \nThe program is 3 part program. The first part of the progr
 am will feature the different dance styles which will fuse the different s
 tyles and aspect of dances. Both live and record music will be used. The s
 econd part of the program will feature the headliner international singer 
 Artiste Anjali. Artiste Anjali will sings with be accompaniment Harmonium\
 , dhantal\, dholak and tabla. She is a classical singer who writes and com
 poses her own music.\nThe third part feature Drums of our culture &ndash\;
 Thappua\, Tassa\, tabla\, and dholak. These drummers will fuse the sounds 
 in a collaboration of musical overture. The idea is to create a clash of t
 he drums. \nFinally the grand finale all dancers will be reintroduced to p
 erform with the feet what the hands are playing on the drums and the audie
 nce is encouraged to participate. \n \n\nStart time: 6-7pm cash bar\, dinn
 er\, raffle\, games\, art by Wattie's Creation from NY\, and other things 
 on sale \n7-10pm Showtime with an intermission
