 ased to present the Youth Choir\, in concert on Sunday\, May 6\, at 2:00 p
 .m. The concert will be performed at Pompano Beach High School\, 600 NE 13
 th Avenue\, in Pompano Beach. Admission is Free. Tickets are not required.
  An offering will be taken.\n\nThe 25-voice Youth Choir from the New Presb
 yterian Church in Pompano Beach\, will present their annual Spring Concert
  directed by John and Lisa Wilson. The Choir is comprised of talented and 
 award-winning high school students from many schools in South Florida. The
  Choir had the honor of being invited to sing this past December for the f
 amous Christmas Candlelight Program at Walt Disney World in Orlando\, FL. 
 \n\nThe songs they sing will include a wide variety of musical styles\, fr
 om Classical to Gospel\, including Spirituals and Contemporary Christian. 
 The Choir will also present excerpts from the Broadway musical by Andrew L
 loyd Webber\, &ldquo\;Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat&rdquo\;
 \, complete with costumes and staging.\n\nIn addition to the Broadway musi
 cal\, there will be vocal solos as well as solo piano selections. A specia
 l feature is a choir of talented musicians who play English Handbells usin
 g the difficult &ldquo\;four-in-hand' technique. It is a program that will
  appeal to adults and children alike!\n\nThe choir is directed by Dr. John
  L. Wilson\, who is the full time Director of Music at the New Presbyteria
 n Church in Pompano Beach. He is a graduate of The American Conservatory o
 f Music in Chicago with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree\, and the Sacred M
 usic School at Union Seminary in New York City with a Master of Sacred Mus
 ic degree plus an undergraduate degree from Westminster College in New Wil
 mington\, PA\, where he recently received a &ldquo\;Distinguished Alumni&r
 dquo\; Award. He was formerly Director of Music at the Coral Ridge Presbyt
 erian Church in Fort Lauderdale for 12 years.\n\nHis wife\, Lisa Blyler Wi
 lson\, is the Co-director and accompanist of the group. She is a graduate 
 of Westminster Choir College in Princeton\, New Jersey\, and has performed
  many concerts in the Mid-Atlantic area including Lincoln Center in New Yo
 rk City. She is also the Vocal Music Teacher at Westminster Academy in For
 t Lauderdale. Her award-winning school choir performed a concert tour of A
 ustria and Germany in 2011.\n\nThe Pompano Beach High School is located at
