 Girls' Club presents a series of four artist talks free and open to the pu
 blic. Gain a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process of local artis
 t Samantha Salzinger. Samantha Salzinger graduated in 1997 with an MFA fro
 m Yale and has since exhibited at Locust Projects\, Gallery Diet\, the Art
  and Culture Center of Hollywood\, and the Wyman Arts Center in Baltimore.
  She is a recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship in
  Visual and Media Art. Her work has been reviewed in Art and Auction\, Art
  Papers\, The Miami Herald\, and Arte al Dia. Salzinger lives and works in
  Broward County where she is currently an Associate Professor and Art Depa
 rtment Chair at Palm Beach Community College teaching classes in photograp
 hy and art history. Formerly\, she served as Director of Exhibitions at th
 e Art and Culture Center of Hollywood. Salzinger's photographs explore the
 mes of reality and fiction utilizing the mechanism of the diorama\, creati
 ng hand-built miniatures of the landscape and catastrophic events of natur
