Timothy Leistner is an artist, author, photographer, and educator.  He works primarily as a watercolorist painter, and has also gained much notoriety from his photography.  Leistner has won numerous awards for his artworks and has exhibited art throughout the USA.  His work is included within collections of corporate and educational institutions as well as with private individuals.
Timothy Leistner was awarded the 2013 Broward County “Teaching Artist of the Year Award;” is the recipient of the “Joseph Leavitt Award for Commitment to the Arts;” selected as one of the “Faces of the Arts” in Broward County 2012; named “Best Visual Artist” of 2011 by New Times Broward/Palm Beach; awarded the 2009 “Individual Leadership for the Arts” and the 2008 “Artist of the Year for Community Impact” Award at ArtServe’s annual Encore Awards. 
He recently co-authored a new children’s picture story book, The House Where Happiness Lived along with his mother, Sue Hiser Leistner.  He executed the illustrations for the book. The book is available internationally at www.Amazon.com and at bookstores throughout the USA.  Timothy Leistner is available for author/illustrator book signings, art and education presentations, and workshops.  His art may be viewed within his studio gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
